Newquay’s Franky ‘Braves the Shave’ for NHS

A Newquay Boxing Academy member has ‘Braved the Shave’ to raise money for the NHS.

Recreational member Franky Haigh, 10, set a target of £400 for his fundraising effort.

But he has quickly smashed that mark, attracting donations on £580 so far.

Franky’s mum, Michele said on Facebook: “He wanted to do something to give back to the NHS and spread some positivity.

“It was his idea and he was so happy when I told him how much he had raised that this he burst into tears!”
