Can you help support Aberfeldy’s Summer School Programme?

Aberfeldy Boxing Club is seeking donations to enable it to run free and accessible boxing classes and activities for young people during the summer holidays.
The London region England Boxing-affiliated club runs children’s classes, alongside adult box fit classes, adult session and classes for autistic children, with more than 200 members from the local area and beyond.
It is particularly keen to address gang activity and knife crime by providing a safe environment in which youngsters can get fit and learn from positive role models while alleviating boredom and keeping them off the streets.
The Stop the Jabbing, Stick to Jabbing campaign has won widespread support, including from a number of celebrities on social media.
Setting up a Summer School Programme during the school holidays will help continue this work and allows those from low income families to participate during what can be an extremely challenging period.
Aberfeldy intend to run the programme over four weeks, with four boxing classes per day run by qualified coaches for a range of abilities.
Refreshments will be provided for those who take part and a community celebration at the end of the sessions for the young people and their families.
Almost £2,000 has already been raised for the project with the hope of more to come.
