Mental Health Awareness Week: Monday 15th – Sunday 21st May 2023

Focusing on anxiety for this year’s Mental Health Awareness Week will increase awareness and understanding of anxiety by providing information on the things that can help prevent it from becoming a problem.
At the same time, Mind will keep up the pressure to demand change – making sure that improving mental health is a crucial priority for the government and society as a whole.
This year’s theme is the link to the cost of living crisis and how this is affecting the mental health of millions.
The uncertainty of watching as costs spiral can be difficult to bear. The worry of how to get by and support our families is piling on the pressure. But for so many of us, looking after our mental health is often last on our list.
