Board member Nathan Pearce

Nathan grew up in the West Country and was a member of the Synwell Boxing Club before joining the Army serving 24 years. The majority of his career was as Physical Training Instructor, during his time in service he was a competitive triathlete representing GB as an age group athlete at 2 World Long Distance Championships. Nathan qualified to officiate in a diverse range of sports but enjoyed being an active boxing official but also an athletics official where he worked to support Army Athletics and Cross Country as the Officials Appointments Officer. He left the Army in 2009 to take the appointment of the Operations Manager of the Army Boxing Association and Army Swimming Union. Nathan served as the Secretary to the UK Armed Forces Boxing Association from 2012 – 2023.

In 2016 Nathan was successfully enrolled as a member of the Technical Rules and Officials Sub Committee, where he has been responsible for drafting and then maintaining the England Boxing Rule Book in its current format and assumed the position of Secretary on the committee in 2020.

Nathan is married to Kathryn has 4 children and 2 grandchildren, he is an avid sports fan and a keen cyclist.
