Another successful Aspire event took place on Sunday 15th September at the English Institute of Sport in Sheffield where 41 female schools boxers demonstrated their talent and commitment to growth. The session centred around the key pillars of England Boxing, both before and after, reinforcing the foundational principles of the sport.
The young athletes had a special opportunity to interact with European Champion Ruby White. In a Q&A session, Ruby shared her experiences, providing invaluable insights into the life and journey of a champion, which left the girls inspired and motivated.
The day was expertly led by England Boxing Pathway Coaches Kerry Chalk, Laura Sargent, and Phil Knight. A big thank you goes out to the Women’s Coach Development Programme (WCDP) and club coaches who were present, sharing their expertise and playing a crucial role in shaping the future of these talented athletes.
Lead National Coach Amanda Coulson wrapped up the day with an inspiring message to the girls, saying, “There is some remarkable talent in this gym today, and this is the future of women’s boxing right here!”
