Evolve Nottingham CIC has delivered two boxing projects that will help to enhance lives in the city through the sport.

The first – Golden Gloves – saw the organisation take boxing to several inner-city independent living schemes, with the oldest boxer aged 94.

The second – the Boxing award Tutor course – saw England and GB Coach Q Shillingford show participants how to become a boxing tutor.

Attendees included Bill, who is well over 70, and who first took part in the Golden Gloves project.

The pilot scheme was supported by GOGA Notts and Nottingham City Homes and encourages the use of boxing to increase activity levels, reduce isolation and help with balance, coordination, memory.

The two projects have been captured on video and you can view them below.
