EUBC Junior European Boxing Championships 2019 – female semi-finals results and male semi-finals schedule

Two great performances today (Thursday) resulting in both England boxers winning their bouts and progressing through to the finals on Saturday.

 

• Sacha Hickey (ENG) v Mihaela Ciobanu (ROU) – won 5:0against the local favourite. Her performances are getting better by the bout and Sacha now goes on to compete against Alina Pushkar of Russia in the final on Saturday

 

• Laura Kovacs (HUN) v  Shelby-Marie Lee (ENG) – won 5:0 and Shelby progresses through to face Alena Tremasova of Russia in the final on Saturday

 

Tomorrow sees three male England boxers all in session two of the semi-finals.

• 54kg Royston Barney-Smith (ENG) v Mikhail Grigorian (RUS) – Bout 6
• 75kg Yehor Fedosenko (UKR) v  Vinny Huczmann (ENG) – Bout 11
• +80kg Valentin Milanov (RUS) v Enriko Itauma (ENG) – Bout 14
