England Boxing are pleased to launch the new look Women’s Aspire Programme. The ever-popular programme now in its sixth year, is back for 2024 but with a new style to help further aid the development of our female boxers.

Held at the EIS in Sheffield, the four-day initiative will host 60 female boxers and allocate one day to each age group (School, Junior, Youth and Elite categories).

The schedule is dedicated to those females who have never been on any level of the talent/performance pathway or have also not been selected by their regions to attend the Women’s Aspire Programme from the start of the programme in 2018.

Women & Girls officer, Laura Sargeant, said: “We want to give girls who have previously not had the chance and opportunity to come and spend an afternoon and train at the Lion’s Den.

Women and girls in the sport have come so far and we would like to offer more experiences for young females coming through and for those that have never been fortunate enough to be selected for the pathway or through previous Women’s Aspire. This is a great way for them to raise their aspirations and to inspire them to dream big and stay in the sport.”
