Book for free extended mental health workshops
June 13, 2020 | by Matt Halfpenny
England Boxing is partnering with the Mayor of London and Mind to deliver three Box In Mind mental health workshops over the coming three weeks.
These workshops form part of the Community Engagement for the European Olympic Qualifiers, which were postponed part-way through due to the Coronavirus outbreak.
The workshops will be delivered online and hosted on London Sport’s Zoom platform, on the following dates/times:
Tuesday 16th June, from 2pm to 3.30pm
Tuesday 23rd June from 2pm to 3.30pm
Tuesday 30th June from 2pm to 3.30pm
The online workshops will be interactive and are open to those both inside and outside of the boxing community, especially organisations working with at-risk young people, but the intention will be to have as many as possible within the boxing community attend.
The workshops will last 90 minutes and are free of charge.
England Boxing staff members Bevis Allen and Lynette Mayo will be delivering the workshops.

These particular courses are called England Boxing Box in Mind Online Workshop – June 2020, as opposed to the England Boxing Box in Mind Bitesize courses, which are 45 minutes. Once registered, the Zoom joining instructions will follow.
