Clubs invited to join I Am Team GB’s 2021 Festival of Sport

England Boxing member clubs keen to seek out new talent are being encouraged to stage open days across the I Am Team GB 2021 Festival of Sport weekend of 14th and 15th August.
The nationwide participation campaign is designed to inspire the nation get active this summer, one week on from the conclusion of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games (8th August).
With lockdowns making inequalities in physical activity grow wider – and the Olympics leading to increased interest in sport and physical activity – free, have-a-go days will give clubs the chance to encourage new participants into their gyms.
Events can be promoted on the dedicated I Am Team GB website, as well as on its social media channels via the hashtag #GetUpGetActive.
The I Am Team GB website will also provide free downloadable toolkits and branded assets for clubs to use to help push their event.
