Club and Championships Matrices for 2022 released
January 13, 2022 | by Matt Halfpenny
The England Boxing Club and Competition Matrices for 2022 have now been released.
They detail at-a-glance key information for clubs and competitions at different age groups and classifications, including age limits, bout lengths, weight categories and weight allowances, round durations and glove weights.
You can access the Club Matrix by clicking here and the Championships Matrix by clicking here, or you can go to the Competitions Overview page on the website.
Following recent enquiries, England Boxing would also like to confirm that this year’s Development Championships for Senior, Youth and Junior boxers is expected to return to its usual slot as a separate tournament in October.
The 2021 editions of those tournaments were boxed alongside their open category and cadet counterparts in an attempt to get all competitions completed before the end of the year after earlier Covid-19 postponements.
Also a reminder that it is vital that clubs and/or boxers inform EB Championships (via the email below) of any spelling errors relating to boxer or clubs which may appear on a national championship matrix once published prior to the completion of the pre-quarter final stages of each competition. Any such errors cannot be rectified after the pre-quarter stages of competition.
Any queries regarding competitions should be emailed to EBchampionships@englandboxing.org
