The East Midlands Boxing region, with support from England Boxing, is looking for Derbyshire clubs to participate in a Mental Health and Suicide Prevention Programme.

Commissioned by Derbyshire County Council Public Health, and delivered by Erewash Voluntary Action, the programme offers Derbyshire-based amateur boxing clubs a fully-funded educational support package.

The programme complements and builds upon club safeguarding and welfare practices to make boxing a fun, safe environment for all.

It will help clubs to support their boxers, coaches, and volunteers to manage their mental health effectively, which is more important than ever following the Coronavirus outbreak, that has raised stress and anxiety levels for many people.
