DiSE hub Gallagher Academy’s open day

The Joe Gallagher Academy, which is one of six hubs for England Boxing’s Diploma In Sporting Excellence (DiSE) programme, is running an open day on Saturday 29th February.
It will be held at the Manchester Youth Zone, 931 Rochdale Road, Harpurhey, Manchester, M9 8AE.
The open day is for England boxing-registered boxers who are leaving school this July and are preparing for college in September, with a view to them enrolling on the day.
It provides students with additional qualifications alongside the BTEC in Sport and gives them access to advanced level boxing coaching and potential hot weather training camps in Tenerife and Barcelona.
The session will start at 10am and go on until 12noon. Some practical elements of the day will take place, so potential students will need to bring appropriate kit.
