England Boxing Awards nominations now open for 2025

Nominations for the third annual England Boxing Awards are now open, celebrating individuals and clubs across the country who have gone the extra mile in making a positive impact within the amateur boxing community in 2025.

The prestigious event will take place on Friday 25th July at the Mercure St Pauls in Sheffield and this year will see four new categories being added to the line-up: Inclusivity Award, Bout of the Year, Best Boxer of the Year (male) and Best Boxer of the Year (female).

The Awards are a chance to recognise the inspirational work of people across the sport, and celebrate and showcase their stories and achievements across a number of categories:

  • Male Coach of the Year
  • Female Coach of the Year
  • Young Coach of the Year (under 30)
  • Volunteer of the Year (non-coach/non-official)
  • Male Official of the Year
  • Female Official of the Year
  • Young Official of the Year (under 30)
  • Lifetime Achievement (25+ years contribution to amateur boxing)
  • Community Club Impact
  • Individual Member Impact
  • Inclusivity Award
  • Bout of the Year
  • Best Boxer of the Year (male)
  • Best Boxer of the Year (female)

The deadline for nominations is close of business on 20th May 2025. Anything received by England Boxing after this date will not be considered.

The winners will be chosen by a panel which consists of five England Boxing sub-committee members (excluding Board members). They will shortlist no more than three nominees in each category to decide a winner from, who will then be announced on the night.

Keep in mind that winners are selected solely from your nominations, so don’t forget to submit your suggestions!
