May 31, 2022 | by Matt Halfpenny
Young people keen to apply for one of 10 Community Boxing Apprentice roles with England Boxing are invited to attend a Showcase Webinar on Thursday 8th June between 5pm and 5.45pm.
Applications for the roles are encouraged from those with a knowledge and understanding of amateur boxing who are passionate about community development and participation.
Candidates (typically aged between 16-25) will harness the excitement and interest in the sport generated by the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games to deliver a meaningful post-Games legacy within boxing.
Together, successful applicants will form a dynamic team of Community Boxing Apprentices who will be based in regions across the country.
The short, online call will give potential applicants:
- More information on the 10 roles available
- What a week in the life of a Community Boxing Apprentice will look like
- Details of the education element of the apprenticeship (what you’ll cover and how it will look)
- Top tips to help you with your application
- Answers to frequently asked questions around the role.
