England Boxing Disciplinary Hearing outcome

England Boxing is now in a position to confirm a disciplinary hearing outcome following the conclusion of the appeal period.
On 21st October 2020, Steve Tighe from East Midlands Region, was charged with:
- Posting anti-Muslim material on Facebook.
- Posting material mocking people who identify as transgender
- Making threats to the complainants of the matter.
On 13th May 2021, an EB disciplinary hearing found Mr Tighe guilty of all charges.
Mr Tighe received a ban of 10 years from any England Boxing activity, along with a condition that if he did re-join after the ban he would have had to undergo suitable training.
