England Boxing National Schools Championships 2019 – warning of possible travel delays
May 15, 2019 | by Matt Halfpenny
Boxers, their coaches and supporters planning to travel to the England Boxing National Schools Championships 2019 at the weekend (18th and 19th May) should take note of road closures that could affect their journey.
The semi-finals (Saturday) and Finals (Sunday) take place at the K2 in Crawley based close to M23 motorway.
But the Highways Agency have advised that journeys by road could be complicated by the closure of the junction 9 slip road that is close to the venue, both from a northbound and southbound direction.
This will be in place from 10pm on Friday 17th May until midday on Sunday 19th May.
People can still travel on the M23 as normal, but they will then have to follow diversion routes via signage that will be in place. Please allow extra time to complete your journey.
For more information check the Highways Agency page here.
You can keep up to date with the Championships on social media using the hashtag #EBNSC19
Live streaming on YouTube will also be in place for all three rings on both days, with details of that service announced in due course.
