GRAB Lottery ticket holder wins £250

The Grassroots Amateur Boxing (GRAB) Lottery had its first £250 winner this past weekend (6th April), with Sudbury ABC supporter James scooping the prize.
There have been over 20 cash prize winners on the lottery since its launch on 16th December 2023, but this is the first time a supporter has won £250. James was joined by three £25.00 winners following last Saturday’s draw.
Following the win James, club coach and secretary at Sudbury ABC, said: “I think it is important that we support the club so it can continue to thrive in the community and serve so many young people.
“I’d recommend clubs and supporters to sign up to GRAB. You can support your local boxing club, the sport and more people on their boxing journey whilst potentially winning some money yourself.”
GRAB was set up to provide boxing clubs with a new and sustainable revenue stream and is already on track to raise over £20,000 a year for over 200 registered clubs. Some have already felt the benefit of their fundraising, using the income to purchase equipment and make changes to their gyms.
As well as a tantalising £25,000 cash prize up for grabs each Saturday, supporters are also entered into the monthly super draw which has seen previous prizes of £1,000 gift cards and a Nintendo Switch bundle.
Our partnership with BOXXER has also enabled two lucky supporters to win tickets to the Natasha Jonas vs Mikaela Mayer and Joshua Buatsi vs Dan Azeez events.
