Meet England Boxing’s new North West and Merseyside and Cheshire Club Support Officer

Alex Vass has this week begun her new role as England Boxing’s Club Support Officer (CSO) for the North West and Merseyside and Cheshire regions.
An experienced Level 2 Coach, Alex is the head coach at Higherside ABC, just outside Liverpool, and an official for the Merseyside and Cheshire region.
She has now clocked up 20 years of experience and is delighted by her new appointment, where she is keen to use her boxing knowledge to good effect.
“I hope to bring my passion for club development to the fore at England Boxing,” said Alex. “I want to support clubs to create more opportunities to thrive, grow, and diversify into inclusive and sustainable ventures.
“ I feel there is so much potential in boxing, so it’s an exciting time to come on board, and I am really looking forward to working with the clubs and the NGB to make this happen.”
