Successful all-female show as North West host Merseyside and Cheshire

The North West Region Women’s Warriors put on an all-female show at St John’s ABC on Sunday 30th April.

The host team took on a Merseyside and Cheshire select team where there were five skills bouts followed by seven bouts that saw a high quality of boxing on show.

There will be a return match later on in the year in either October or November.

North West lead coach Donna Shaw and Merseyside lead Alex Vass worked tirelessly with the matching and the organising of the event.

Thanks also go to all those who took time out to make the event a great success, including boxers, officials, volunteers and parents – and to St John’s ABC for the use of the gym.
