Team England duo Richardson and Davis inspire at Tamworth

Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games silver medallist Gemma Richardson and Team England teammate Kerry Davis have taken time out from their busy schedules to help out at free taster sessions run by Tamworth Boxing Club.
The Scunthorpe and Jewellery Quarter boxers attended the first of three sessions that are open to all women and girls over the age of 10, the other two taking place on 23rd August and 30th August.
Tamworth have developed the three-week programme to celebrate the recent success of females in sport, which has included a host of medal winners at Birmingham 2022 and the England Women’s football team winning Euro 2022.
The sessions are being delivered by Georgia Keast and Beth Smith, both England Boxing Level 1 coaches at the Midlands region club.
Gemma and Kerry supported by giving out tips and advice and also delivered a Q&A session to give inspiring young boxers a insight into what it’s like to train and compete for GB Boxing.
